I personally love miniatures and dioramas and will regularly build my own for non-holiday purposes, but oh boy when the holidays come around each year I make it a point to make or acquire diorama pieces whenever I can. This particular Christmas themed village stable building is a gorgeous little piece of art. There was definitely care and attention put into the painting and finishing of the piece. Edges and separation of colors are clean, and each area is given an even coating and what looks like multiple layers of paint. Very happy to display it for holiday gatherings. The construction is solid too. It's a dense resin material and feels solid. The finishing of the piece looks like it'll stand the test of time. The only part that might not last is the glitter that is applied to the snowy areas, since some of it has already fallen off. Small problem, no biggie.Music and lights are powered by 3 AA batteries or the (thankfully) including AC adapter cable. He opted for the latter method and it works well. The lights can be operated separately from the music, or both can be used in tandem. The sound is clear and the lights bright, though we wish the LED string lights were integrated a bit better into the front facade of the building, since it breaks the illusion of scale. That's a small issue and doesn't affect our enjoyment once we got it on the display shelf.Overall, a fantastic holiday diorama piece. highly recommended.
This would make a nice addition to any Christmas village. Good quality, sturdy, and painted nicely.
I was sooo happy to score this stable for my Christmas village! They are expensive, but oh em gee they are gorgeous! It lights up and the music is just as beautiful as the stable!
This piece adds a nice rustic vibe to the holiday atmosphere because of its handmade aesthetic (i.e., imperfect symmetry, somewhat amorphous facial design, etc.). Additionally, it lights up AND plays Christmas music (note: you can set it to lights-only mode or lights + music mode). This Christmas village country stable piece plays about 7 or 8 short music-box-like renditions of well-known songs. Regarding the lights, you can either use 3 AA batteries (not included) or use the power adapter (included, and much appreciated). One small complaint is regarding the snow...the glitter decoration comes off very easily, and it creates somewhat of a mess. Though overall, this is a fanciful, little object to have around during the holidays.
The addition of this stable to my Christmas village is so adorable! This is very well made, runs off of a battery or plug in.Also has a music option for those that want that.Paint is nicely done and fits right in to my cobbled together xmas village.Lights are nice and bright.Highly recommend.
