We have been looking for a ceramic train like this for years. love it
I bought this so my grandchildren could play with my Village houses and the train wouldn’t get broken. It’s not as cute as Dept 56 items but it is appealing and unbreakable and looks great with my Village Houses.
This is not pre-lit and there is no lights/ batteries on this train. But the colors are really bright on this train. I had this on my Christmas tree decorations last year and really goes well with it. I think overall it is a great buy and a good value for the money.
First off, this is not prelit as the current description states it is. I did not see that, and that is not what I wanted it for, so it is not a problem for me, but some will not be happy with it. I love trains and do not have enough room for a running train set, and this ceramic one is a perfect substitute for me. The pieces are fairly well painted. They are not perfect, as a lot of holiday stuff like this is not, but unless you are staring at it up close, you will not notice. It is painted well enough for my taste. The ceramic is not that thick on the parts, so it is a little fragile, and it is fairly lightweight. It looks great set up under my small tree and will be good for anyone with small spaces for decorating.
